the staff were very attentive, they went beyond expectations. the sunday carvery was really excellent, it had great quality meat and vegetables. the price was also very great, it was a very good value.
the room was not cleaned during our two nights stay. the beef seemed very tough and the roast potatoes didn't tasted so good. there were no peas nor sprouts offered with the carvery.

the staff was consistently helpful and friendly.. the check-in and check-out processes were quick and easy. ample parking was available, a definite plus. the entire place was clean and well kept.
i noticed a slight delay in replenishing toiletries in the bathroom.

the historic building exuded character, with festive decorations like a tree and log fire enhancing the ambiance. the little bar looked cute, with a cozy spot for relaxation, though i did not personally use it.
